1. Service Agreement
Joe Schwierking Inspection provides professional pressure washing and mechanical cleaning services for residential, commercial, and marine properties in Ketchikan, Alaska. Our services include, but are not limited to:
- Residential exterior cleaning (house washing, deck cleaning, driveway restoration)
- Commercial property cleaning (building exteriors, parking lots, concrete surfaces)
- Marine vessel and equipment cleaning
- Specialized cleaning solutions
1.1 Service Scheduling
All services are provided by appointment only. Appointments can be scheduled by phone, email, or through our website contact form. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your preferred schedule, but all appointments are subject to availability and weather conditions.
1.2 Service Estimates
Price estimates provided before service are based on information supplied by the client and our assessment of the project requirements. Final pricing may vary if the actual conditions differ from those described or if additional services are requested during the service appointment.
2. Client Responsibilities
2.1 Property Preparation
Prior to our arrival, clients are responsible for:
- Removing personal items, vehicles, and obstacles from the service area
- Securing pets and ensuring they remain away from the service area
- Closing all windows, doors, and other openings in areas to be cleaned
- Informing us of any special conditions, fragile items, or areas to avoid
- Providing access to water sources if required for the service
2.2 Property Access
Clients must provide reasonable access to the property on the scheduled service date. If we cannot access the property due to client-related issues, a rescheduling fee may apply.
2.3 Disclosure of Hazards
Clients must disclose any known hazards or special conditions that might affect the cleaning process or pose safety risks to our technicians.
3. Payment Terms
3.1 Pricing
Our pricing is based on the scope of work, property size, condition, accessibility, and specific cleaning requirements. All prices are quoted in US dollars.
3.2 Payment Methods
We accept payment by cash, check, and major credit cards. For commercial clients, we may offer invoicing with payment terms upon approved credit.
3.3 Deposits
For larger projects, we may require a deposit to secure your appointment. The deposit amount will be specified in your service estimate and will be applied to your final invoice.
3.4 Late Payments
Invoices are due upon receipt unless otherwise specified in writing. Late payments may incur additional fees at a rate of 1.5% per month on the outstanding balance.
4. Cancellation and Rescheduling
4.1 Weather-Related Cancellations
We reserve the right to reschedule services due to inclement weather conditions that may compromise safety or service quality. No cancellation fees will apply for weather-related rescheduling.
4.2 Client Cancellations
Clients must provide at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice may incur a fee of up to 25% of the estimated service cost.
4.3 No-Shows
If a client is not present at the scheduled appointment time and has not made arrangements for property access, a no-show fee may apply, and rescheduling will be required.
5. Service Warranty
5.1 Satisfaction Guarantee
We stand behind the quality of our work. If you are not satisfied with our services, please notify us within 48 hours of service completion, and we will return to address any areas of concern at no additional cost.
5.2 Limitations
Our warranty does not cover:
- Pre-existing damage not caused by our cleaning process
- Stains or conditions that cannot be removed through standard pressure washing techniques
- Natural weathering or recontamination that occurs after our service
- Areas specifically excluded from the service agreement
5.3 Property Damage
In the unlikely event that our services cause damage to your property, we will make appropriate repairs or compensation. Claims must be reported within 72 hours of service completion and verified by our service manager.
6. Liability Limitations
6.1 Insurance Coverage
Joe Schwierking Inspection maintains comprehensive business liability insurance. A certificate of insurance is available upon request.
6.2 Limitation of Liability
Our liability is limited to the cost of the services provided. We are not responsible for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages, including but not limited to loss of use or loss of profits.
6.3 Pre-Existing Conditions
We are not liable for pre-existing property conditions including, but not limited to:
- Loose or damaged siding, shingles, or building materials
- Improperly sealed windows or doors that may allow water intrusion
- Previous improper repairs or modifications
- Existing cracks, chips, or damage to surfaces
- Unstable structures or attachments
7. Website Use Terms
7.1 Content Accuracy
We make reasonable efforts to provide accurate information on our website. However, we do not warrant that the information is complete, current, or error-free. Service descriptions, pricing, and availability are subject to change without notice.
7.2 Intellectual Property
